Voodoo, Battlestar Galactica and the Gulf's Future

GRN is excited to announce that we will again be the official non-profit partner of the Voodoo Experience, one of NOLA's biggest and best music festivals, October 29-31 in City Park.  In addition to checking out My Morning Jacket, Ozzy, Weezer, MGMT and all the great local bands, you should also come out to meet two of the stars of Battlestar Galactica, Katee Sackhoff and Tricia Helfer, who will be spending a little time at our booth.

Even cooler that the time they're committing to help us out on site, is the time and miles they're putting in the help keep the nation's eyes on the Gulf as we recover from the devestating BP drilling disaster. Starbuck and Number 6 will be rolling from Los Angeles to Louisiana to support the Gulf Future campaign of GRN and the Gulf Coast Fund!  Watch and learn!

You can follow Katee and Tricia as they prep for the ride and make their way across the country at their website, Acting Outlaws.  And of course, you can always just do what they request, and text "FUTURE" to 85944 to make a donation to the Gulf Future campaign.

Aaron Viles is GRN's Campaign Director, and a recently converted fan of Battlestar Galactica.  You can follow him on twitter @GulfAaron
