DSC_0028-Lamar_Billups__guests GRN supporters are charged up to support a healthy Gulf after enjoying a evening at Mondo this past Sunday, with meaningful discussion, and excellent food, music, art, and even a Hollywood celebrity on hand.  Attendees had the opportunity to meet actor Tim Robbins, GRN supporter and narrator of our Gulf Tides video series.  Funds raised during the event support our efforts to ensure that Clean Water Act fines levied against BP are actually used to restore the Gulf of Mexico region.

Environmental attorney Robert Wiygul educated the audience about the legal and policy issues surrounding the oil disaster, highlighting concerns about oil industry response plans which include protections for walruses in the Gulf of Mexico.  In the stylish atmosphere of Mondo, Susan Spicer and her staff presented delicious cuisine.  Attendees enjoyed music by Sasha Masakowski and Mark Weliky and bid on artwork and other items in the silent auction.  Both Susan Spicer and Sig of the Voodoo Experience were recognized for their extraordinary commitments to GRN and a healthy Gulf.

Thanks so much to all our supporters that attended and contributed.  Special thanks to Robert Wiygul and Susan Spicer and the fabulous staff of Mondo.

And a BIG shout-out to our event host committee and many supporters....
