Oil and Gas Accountability Campaign
Hold Shell Oil accountable for the significant role the company has played in the destruction of Louisiana’s wetlands. Oil and gas companies are responsible for 40-60% of Louisiana’s wetlands loss. Help make them pay their fair share.
Media Outreach
- Use local media, through news releases, media events, LTE’s, and op-eds, to raise campaign visibility
- Develop messaging to best educate the public on Shell’s role in our coastal crisis
Materials Development
- Produce stickers, fliers, posters, online media, and other creative mechanisms for spreading the campaign message
Direct Pressure on Shell Oil
- Organize local protests at opportunistic events, like speeches by the Shell President
- Collect post-cards and emails to pressure Shell Oil
- Hold local demonstrations, brochure hand-outs, etc. at retail outlets
- Expand a coalition of groups working together to hold Shell accountable
