DESCRIPTION:What: Celebrating Alabama’s marine life \nWhere: 1650 Eco Trail\, Gulf Shores\, AL 36542; Gulf Coast Eco Center Palmetto Room \nWhen: Thursday August 27   6 pm – 7:30 pm \nJoin the Alabama Coastal Foundation and Healthy Gulf as we celebrate the rich marine life that lives along the Alabama Gulf coast\, and how you can get involved in protecting the amazing animals that share our beaches and waterways. We’ll enjoy short films\, educational displays and presentations by local advocates taking up the cause for sea turtles\, whales\, manatees and more. An update on sea turtle nesting on Alabama beaches will be provided\, and snacks and beverages will be served. \nEvent guests include: \n\nMark Berte\, Executive Director\, Alabama Coastal Foundation\nDr. Ruth Carmichael\, founder and director\, Marine Mammal Research Program\, Dauphin Island Sea Lab\nChristian Wagley\, Healthy Gulf\nBethany Salvon and Randy Kalp\, travel photographer/journalist team and endangered species advocates known as @beersandbeans on Instagram\nLive music by Bob Teague\n\nQuestions: Contact Christian Wagley at christian@healthygulf.org
