Resisting Dirty Energy Coordinator
Ali is Healthy Gulf’s Resisting Dirty Energy Coordinator. She facilitates collaboration among various groups in the Louisiana and East Texas region who are working to halt the petrochemical, oil, and gas buildout. As part of her work to advance a just transition for the region, Ali is developing and maintaining a committee of frontline leaders to advise on the distribution of funds for community-driven anti-petrochemical campaigns. She previously served as the Grassroots Outreach Coordinator at Healthy Gulf, and enjoys engaging with folks on the ground to envision a just and equitable future. In her free time, Ali loves to practice yoga, support farmers markets, and cook good food to share with others.
