Join Our Board and Help Shape the Future of Healthy Gulf

If you’ve ever laid eyes on the Gulf of Mexico, whether it be from Texas or from the Florida shore, you likely have seen the beauty and the awe of this incredible body of water. We, at Healthy Gulf, are driven to protect this precious resource from the onslaught of threats from industry. We work to protect, and are members of, frontline communities across the Gulf. Are you ready to join us as environmental and climate justice leaders?

About Healthy Gulf
Our Vision
A healthy Gulf of Mexico returned to its former splendor that supports a thriving ecosystem that includes the gulf’s natural resources and just as importantly, the people, communities and cultures that depend on those resources.

Our Mission
Healthy Gulf’s purpose is to collaborate with and serve communities who love the Gulf of Mexico by providing research, communications and coalition-building tools needed to reverse the long-pattern of over-exploitation of the Gulf’s natural resources.

Our Work
Healthy Gulf works to build a unified voice for the health and sustainability of the Gulf of Mexico. Created in 1994, Healthy Gulf is committed to uniting and empowering citizens to protect and restore the natural resources of the Gulf Region.

Healthy Gulf leads this movement through current scientific research, organizing to demand responsible action from local, regional, and national decision-makers in the interest of the communities they impact, communication, and litigation. Healthy Gulf’s greatest strength comes from our ability to take on campaigns and issues where the scope is larger than one individual organization and where we can help groups across the region learn from the experience of others.
