NOLA East Environmental Justice Earth Day Block Party & Toxic Tour

April 18 @ 8:00 am - 7:00 pm

We’re taking it to the streets of New Orleans East for our Environmental Justice Earth Day Block Party & Toxic Tour—a full-day experience rooted in climate, culture, and collectivism.

The morning begins with a neighborhood beautification (community cleanup) project, followed by a celebration featuring music, food, and community acknowledgments. Registered participants will then board a charter bus to Plaquemines Parish for a toxic tour and frontline panel discussion with Q&A, concluding with a locally catered Louisiana dinner.

This experience offers a powerful opportunity to engage directly with frontline community members and better understand the impacts of climate change, industrial pollution, and coastal challenges in Plaquemines Parish.
