Protect Endangered Species

The Endangered Species Act has been incredibly successful in preventing the extinction of iconic wildlife like bald eagles, alligators and brown pelicans. Despite these successes, the Trump administration haphazardly gutted the Endangered Species Act. Among other things, these changes have weakened science-based decision making and eliminated automatic protection of threatened species from killing and trapping. Now, it’s time for the Congress to reinstate the full protections of the Endangered Species Act.
