Defending the Coast at Voodoo

Each Halloween, Gulf Restoration Network and hundreds of thousands of festivalgoers gather in New Orleans’ City Park for music, art, cuisine and camaraderie as part of the Voodoo Music + Arts Experience. We’re excited to continue this partnership (for the 9th year in a row!) and we hope to see you out there.Want to come? Voodoo donated a pair of VIP “Loa” passes that we have up for auction here. All proceeds benefit GRN, so you can support the Gulf AND enjoy a music-filled weekend! The Gulf coast and New Orleans are home to some of the world’s richest musical and cultural traditions. Unfortunately, we are facing a myriad of threats: ongoing impacts from the BP oil disaster, sea level rise, destructive oil & gas development and so much more. If we continue to lose a football field of our coastal wetlands EACH HOUR, there won’t be much to sing about – No coast, No music. This year GRN will be at Voodoo demonstrating to festivalgoers the significance of our precious wetlands and giving them an opportunity to take action. Come find us!If you haven’t already purchased your ticket, today is your lucky day! GRN has two Loa passes up for auction.
