Erica Durousseau brings over 19 years of experience driving strategic growth and enhancing visibility for nonprofit organizations to the role of Chief Development Officer. With a proven track record in fundraising, strategic planning, and partnership building, Erica is passionate about creating impactful initiatives that align with Healthy Gulf’s mission to protect the Gulf ecosystems and communities. Before her role at Healthy Gulf, she served as Executive Director of The Foundation for Science & Mathematics Education, where she successfully led fundraising efforts and managed significant grant proposals. Erica holds an MBA in Entrepreneurship and Finance from Loyola University New Orleans and a Bachelor’s degree in Mass Communication from Grambling State University.
