Gregory N. Swafford comes to Healthy Gulf with several years of organizing experience in the city of New Orleans. His work includes steering public awareness campaigns and leading grassroots, hands-on efforts to promote environmental stewardship across the city, particularly in low income neighborhoods. His work reflects a commitment to addressing equality and advocating for cleaner, safer communities for Southeast Louisiana residents. At Healthy Gulf, Gregory will be building campaign movements across Southeast Louisiana, particularly against LNG expansion in Cancer Alley. He is a co-founder of Culture of Cleanliness, a New Orleans-based organization established in 2022 to combat littering and illegal trash dumping in New Orleans neighborhoods.
