La’Tanya is a resident of Birmingham, Alabama. She is currently the Environmental Science Educator for the Cahaba River Society, taking the lead on CLEAN (Children Linking with the Environment across the Nation), an innovative program offering students hands-on environmental education activities while safely participating in a canoe trip or stream walk in the Cahaba River watershed.
