Rodney Jones
Rodney is a native of Pensacola, Florida. He is Executive Director of Healthy Opportunities and Options to Promote Success (HOOPS), an organization dedicated to helping young people in Escambia County stay out of gangs and the juvenile justice system. He also serves as president of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People’s Pensacola branch. He has an associate’s in arts degree from Pensacola State College, a bachelor’s degree in social work from the University of West Florida, a master’s degree in clinical mental health counseling and psychology from Troy University and is working on his doctorate in social psychology.
