Found: The Easter Keg

This past Saturday the sun was shining, the hunters were scavenging, and the beer was flowing at the final stop of NOLA Brewing’s 4th annual Easter Keg Hunt. The search began at the Howlin’ Wolf, and led over 300 contestants all around the Warehouse District of New Orleans. From the Confederate Museum to the lighthouse building, Capdeville to Plaza de Espana, folks cracked the clues and raced on. After eight stops, they found their way to 12 Bar on Fulton, where Colin Lake and his band played all afternoon. Congratulations to Tiffany S., who won the raffle grand prize for a private NOLA brewery tour for 30 of her closest friends! There were some witty names and killer costumes, so trophies were awarded to the outstanding, namely Best Team Costume (The Peeps) and Best Team Name (Jesus Tye-Dyed for Our Sins). Proceeds from the event support GRN’s efforts to protect and restore the Gulf of Mexico. Check out many more pictures (after the jump) and on WDSU’s slideshow online. Thanks to everyone who attended, and NOLA Brewing, for an amazing Easter Keg Hunt! Natasha Noordhoff is GRN’s Development Associate
