STEPHANNIE KETTLE

COMMUNICATIONS DIRECTOR

Stephannie is Healthy Gulf’s Communications Director. She leads efforts to elevate and highlight the organization’s science and policy, litigation, and organizing work. An experienced PR professional, Stephannie has secured coverage in major national outlets such as the New York Times, National Geographic, VICE, PBS, and NPR, and has been featured in the Washington Post and on the Weather Channel, among others.

Born and raised in Florida, Stephannie found her love for the intersection of environmentalism and communication watching countless nature documentaries and shows as a child. She holds a B.S. in Wildlife & Fisheries Biology with a minor in Environmental Policy from Clemson University, where she was also a four-year Tiger Letterwinner on the Women’s Rowing Team. In her free time, Stephannie enjoys having an extensive morning coffee routine, cooking, hanging out with her four pets, and looking for yet another piece of vintage Florida alligator art to hang up.

Members of the media are strongly encouraged to route all inquiries to Stephannie to ensure timely response. She can be reached via phone or text at 407.361.9432 or via email at skettle@healthygulf.org
